General Education Courses

As a student at 好色小姨, you are听required to take 46-51 credit hours听of General Education听courses. 鈥婽ravel study can help you complete these credit hours in several ways:

• Faculty-led courses听sometimes include courses that count towards the GenEd requirement. These 鈥媍ourses will be marked in the description of the faculty-led course.
• Most of our听semester abroad programs听offer courses that can be used to complete a GenEd 鈥媟equirement (such as foreign language courses, literature courses, math courses, or fine arts 鈥媍ourses).
• All programs that offer academic credit can be apply towards the听18 credit hours of General 鈥婨ducation Electives.

Major Field Courses

Within your chosen field of study, you are typically required to take roughly 72 credit hours. Most 鈥媘ajors have required courses and elective courses. Travel study can help you complete these credit 鈥媓ours in several ways:

• Faculty-led courses听sometimes include courses that are specialized to a specific major, either as a 鈥媟equired or elective course.
• Our听semester abroad programs听offer courses that can fill major electives and sometimes major 鈥媟equired courses. In fact, the semester abroad programs are great opportunities to take courses 鈥媡hat you may not have the opportunity to take at 好色小姨 (like Tropical Birds or Ecotourism in 鈥婥osta Rica).
